Topics Covered: Initiating the GUI in Matlab

For this week for the project I have done some research in developing a GUI in Matlab for interfacing with a user. The design for the Gui is a simple button that when pressed generates the calculated concentration of glucose from the sample. So far for the research of the creating the Gui a tutorial was followed to create some graphs which were found online at https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/creating_guis/about-the-simple-guide-gui-example.html. I plan on following some more of the tutorials to better create the Gui to calculate the concentration on the button click. However I am capable of creating the template for the Gui, labeling the apps, and accessing the code in Matlab where the Gui is coded. I also have downloaded the toolkit for the spectrometer as well as done some small research regarding interfacing with the spectrometer.
